The Role You Could Play

As our SEO Specialist, you will help drive the implementation of effective changes to improve MECCA’s online presence as well as support in analyzing opportunities and providing meaningful insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders. You will be an integral part of the eCommerce team supporting delivery of trade objectives, and working closely with Product and Content to deliver requirements in line with best practice. Reporting to the SEO & Content Manager, you will help deliver and implement best practice through Sitecore, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Product Inventory Management systems. You will provide meaningful insights and recommendations, whilst continuously unlocking opportunities to surprise and delight our customers through innovation and bringing to life the “MECCA Magic”. Day to day responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Support with setting benchmarks and development of roadmap to achieve SEO goals and KPIs Report on overall organic search performance and develop meaningful insights to guide strategy in line with SEO best practice Support the identification of data driven trends and insights through gap analysis and competitor review to assist with content development Support to deliver technical SEO audits, guidelines, recommendations, etc., to ensure site structure follows SEO best practice Produce and coordinate delivery of recommendations with internal stakeholders Work collaboratively with other performance channels in conjunction with SEO Manager to deliver a holistic performance strategy What You Will Bring You are a proactive, go-getter who is willing to do what it takes to make things happen but equally can apply a strategic lens to ensure you are operating efficiently. You will be agile and have the ability to quickly adapt to an ever-changing environment. You have the ability to prioritise and work under pressure to deliver to multiple stakeholders whilst managing expectations and influencing outcomes. You are analytical, logical and can use data and insights to help with your problem solving and decision-making. You are optimistic, have a positive attitude, are considerate, respectful and empathetic. As a solution focused individual, you will have proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve, develop new ideas and provide solutions.
