About the Role: We seek an experienced SEO Specialist to lead our search engine optimisation strategy and initiatives. This role is ideal for a digital marketing generalist who possesses a broad skill set in online marketing, with a deep focus on SEO. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for improving our organic search rankings, driving website traffic, and increasing conversion rates. This position requires a blend of technical, creative, and analytical talents to optimise website architecture, content, and linking strategies. Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy, including keyword research, link-building, content creation, and technical SEO audits. Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed and to identify new content opportunities. Analyse performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance and adjust plans accordingly. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and changes in SEO best practices and adjusting strategies to accommodate these changes. Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark performance and identify areas of opportunity. Work alongside the web development team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in code and during the website development. Monitor and analyse SEO reports, using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs, and report on performance to senior management. Qualifications: Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role in digital marketing. Comprehensive knowledge of standard and current SEO practices, performance analysis and digital marketing tools. Proficiency in web analytics software and keyword tools. Experience with content management systems and an understanding of the technical elements of website architecture. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
