Our client, a leading law firm with offices in the heart of Newcastle, are looking to recruit a Serious Injury Paralegal to join their leading defendant insurance litigation team.The role would suit ideally a Serious Injury Paralegal who can demonstrate previous serious injuries experience however, our client is also keen to see CVs of good personal injury paralegals with upwards of 2 years' experience who are keen to branch out into serious injuries work.
Responsibilities:
Supporting a number of experienced Solicitors on a caseload of high value, complex defendant personal injury claims generally valued over £500k.
Analysing medical records and reporting on the same.
Corresponding with clients and third parties.
Negotiating settlement.
Preparing cases for trial.
Creating trial bundles.
Drafting applications and legal documentation.
Adhering to court direction.
Post judgment formalities.
What's on offer?:
Salary to £29,000 the top end of the bracket being reserved for those with serious injuries experience.
Mostly home based, with 1 days office attendance requirement per week.
