Motus Truck & Van have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and customer-oriented Mercedes-Benz Van Service Advisor to join their fabulous team in Thurrock.

What will you be doing?
Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to our Van service department Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle's issues Utilize your mechanical knowledge to assess vehicle problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timeframes Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer's vehicle Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process Handle cash/card transactions and maintain accurate records of payments
Hours:
You are required to work Monday to Friday with the shift patterns below: Week one: 06:30am - 15:00pm Week two: 08:00am - 16:30pm Week three: 10:00am - 18:30pm
Salary:
£28,000 - £32,000 per annum plus company bonus

The successful candidate will have: The ability to produce work to a very high standard A team player mentality An awareness of Health and Safety procedures/policies Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive setting Strong upselling skills and the ability to effectively communicate the value of additional services or products Solid mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend appropriate solutions Experience handling cash transactions and maintaining financial records Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
