Service Centre Lead

to oversee workshop operations and a team of service and repair fitters. This role focuses on delivering high-quality results efficiently and safely while maintaining a strong emphasis on leadership and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead monthly forecasting and workshop coordination to ensure operational priorities are achieved. Supervise and inspire service and repair teams, including conducting performance reviews and arranging training. Oversee service and repair activities to maintain discipline, quality, and safety standards. Provide hands-on mechanical build and repair support during busy periods. Monitor capacity, performance, and challenges, ensuring timely problem resolution and escalation. Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide updates on progress or challenges. Contribute to achieving business targets and supporting senior management strategies. Manage customer updates, order processing (using Efacs), and third-party procurement. What You’ll Bring: Proven experience in mechanical repair/service, ideally with knowledge of valves and pressure testing equipment. Strong leadership and motivational skills to inspire and develop team capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; familiarity with Lean principles is an advantage. Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to manage workloads effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. What's on Offer: Competitive salary based on experience.
