Job Role

Joining FirstPort as a Service Charge Accounting Manager, you will be required to provide all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for our developments, working collaboratively with key stakeholders. You will also manage a team of service charge accountants ensuring business objectives are met, alongside legislative guidance.

Key Responsibilities: Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure team goals are met. Lead, motivate, and support team members to ensure high performance. Demonstrate confidence in HR processes, including performance management, and handle team issues in line with company policies. Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to help team members improve their skills and career progression. Maintain oversight of work processes, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Develop and present regular reports to key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of team progress, challenges, and successes. Understand the implications of the accuracy of data being shared. Evaluate and implement informed, confident decisions in the best interest of the team and organisation. Facilitate proactive communication with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. Schedule and lead calls with the right stakeholders, driving resolutions to outstanding queries. Utilise reporting tools and systems to manage, prioritise, and allocate team workload. Analyse data and trends to ensure workload balance, identifying areas for improvement or adjustment. Identify areas for improvement within the team and across processes. Required Skills & Qualifications:

2 years management experience 2 years of experience within a financial position Proficiency in using reporting tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools, or other relevant platforms) to track and manage team performance. The Benefits
