As a Service Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of our service division. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and coordinate service requests, oversee the service team, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain excellent communication will contribute significantly to the success of our service operations. Service Controller Key Responsibilities

Manage the service department and team, providing guidance and support to achieve service excellence and operational efficiency. Coordinate and schedule service appointments for specialized vehicles, taking into consideration technical requirements, customer preferences, and service capacity. Monitor the progress of service and maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing regular updates on service status. Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication throughout the service process. Maintain comprehensive records of service orders, including parts used, labour hours, and detailed service reports. Analyze service data and customer feedback to identify trends, areas for improvement, and implement measures for enhancing service delivery. Work closely with the parts procurement team to manage inventory levels, ensuring timely availability of components required for service and repairs. Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the service department to ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers. Continuously strive to improve service processes and customer experience, keeping abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies. Service Controller Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive, special purpose vehicle, or related industries. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex service operations effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, ensuring positive customer interactions and team collaboration. Familiarity with special purpose vehicles or similar complex machinery is a plus. Proficiency in using computer systems and service management software. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
