Your Role:

As a Service Controller, you'll lead an engineering workforce, ensuring “value for money” support and service while adhering to corporate standards. You will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction, optimising service delivery, and meeting departmental budgets and objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Customer Satisfaction: Ensure prompt attention to customer requirements, exceeding their expectations. Workforce Management: Assign daily tasks to engineers, communicate ETAs to customers, and update all stakeholders on job status. Warranty Standards: Manage warranty work with detailed documentation, including cause, action, photos, and additional repair details. Operational Excellence: Ensure workshops, vehicles, tools, and equipment are maintained to a professional standard. Sales & Revenue: Maximise retail hours sales to exceed company targets. Workforce Motivation: Maintain a motivated team by addressing concerns, recommending training, and fostering strong working relationships. Health & Safety: Enforce compliance with Health & Safety standards, referencing the company handbook. Reporting: Oversee job cards, verify timesheets, and ensure all paperwork is processed within 24 hours.

Key Accountabilities: Achieve departmental budgets, targets, and objectives. Dispatch new machines to the highest standard and ensure used machinery exceeds customer expectations. Minimise customer disputes and maintain a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For: Previous experience controlling service operations in a similar role. Understanding of plant machinery, service processes, and customer care. Strong ability to manage and work closely with the engineering teams. Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to prioritise, manage tasks, and maintain high standards of service delivery.
