Pyramid8 Recruitment is recruiting for a full-time permanent Service Controller for our client based in Sherburn in Elmet. As a service controller, you would be office-based in Sherburn in Elmet, where you would allocate maintenance and service jobs into the service engineer schedules. You will hold accountability for the satisfaction of your assigned service engineers’ customers, ensuring that schedules are met. This role would test your planning and communication skills, and you will be the first port of call for customers. The challenge in this role is to keep them satisfied while at the same time keeping your engineers in the loop and assisting with any issues they come across. Main Duties Taking calls from customers regarding the breakdown of back-up power systems. Organising engineers to attend customer's sites. Ensuring engineers are allocated correctly. Taking responsibility for work and ensuring all jobs are completed efficiently. Service administration. Responding to customer queries in a professional and timely manner. Working closely and supporting the sales team with their questions and requests. Skills/Abilities: Previous experience working within customer service, administration, or service delivery environment would be an advantage but is not essential. Able to maintain a high attention to detail in all tasks undertaken. Cross-discipline team working. Can demonstrate the ability to go the extra mile to exceed expectations. An understanding of how to deal with difficult and/or upset customers. Excellent telephone manner. Excellent time management and personal organisational skills. Ability to work to deadlines. Ability to work without close supervision. Ability to work closely to instructions. Proficient at Microsoft Office. Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills. Education & Experience: Strong customer service background or aptitude. Sound relationship building skills with customers. Cross-discipline team working. Can demonstrate the ability to go the extra mile to exceed expectations.
