One of the largest growing Alt Nets in the UK are looking for Service Delivery Engineers to come & join their ever-growing team. Your focus will be to install and service their overhead and underground network using the specifics of Openreach’s PIA network. You will be directly involved in the maintenance of the network, including the installation of CBTs, striving to resolve customer/network outages and act as a supply network. Working daily on customer residential installations, assisting with both overhead and underground cabling and the installations of CBTs. Following the correct procedures for fibre splicing and testing at multiple points along the installation process. Installation of the fibre cables and CBTs cross-referencing Openreach’s PIA policies. Fault finding using OTDR back to the exchanges. When needed, completing minor civils works including blockage clearances. Maintaining all health & safety across sites. Minimum Requirements:

Previous experience in a fibre installations position - minimum 1 year. Experience with both overhead and underground cabling and installations. Having previous experience with fault finding using OTDR. Previously worked on the Openreach or PIA network. BT Accreditations would be desirable – (SA001/SA002/S7/S8). Salary would be up to £34,000 per annum. Annual bonus – up to 30% of their annual salary.
