Full Time Are you a fluent German speaker with a passion for providing exceptional customer service? Our client, a global organisation, is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join their dynamic team in Chester. As a member of the Specialty Service Desk, you will be the initial point of contact for clients, handling inquiries via telephone, email, chat, or portal. You'll have the opportunity to support BMS employees divisions across the globe, building strong relationships and delivering top-notch technical and application support. Responsibilities: Accept incoming calls, chats, and tickets, directing them to the appropriate support groups while managing End User expectations. Provide IT support to BMS employees and partners globally, with a focus on the EMEA region. Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and business process issues, identifying trends and bridging knowledge gaps. Utilise the Knowledgebase to address inquiries and create draught articles to enhance knowledge sharing. Participate in application testing, upgrades, and deployment, as well as internal Service Desk projects. Skills required: Native or near-native fluency in German, with a good command of English. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information. Strong troubleshooting and research skills. Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks while adhering to Service Desk processes. A positive and flexible team player with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success. Familiarity with ITIL Framework and ITSM is a plus. Qualifications/Experiences: Minimum High School Diploma; preferred Bachelor's Degree. Prior experience in technical support or a Service Desk environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of telephony systems. Experience supporting application and Microsoft Windows is preferred. Previous experience in Life Sciences is advantageous.
