What youll be doing:

  • First-line IT support: You'll handle technical support queries, ensuring issues are resolved quickly, aiming for a "first-time fix."
  • Troubleshooting & escalation: Resolve IT problems or escalate them to senior staff and third-party providers.
  • Customer interaction: Act as the first point of contact, engaging with internal staff to diagnose issues and provide solutions.
  • Monitoring & reporting: Log and track service requests, ensuring efficient communication and timely resolutions.
  • Collaborating with suppliers: Liaise with managed service providers to support the wider team effectively.

What youll need:

  • IT experience: Substantial experience in an IT customer support role with familiarity in remote diagnostic tools.
  • Technical skills: Expertise in Windows, Office Networking, and Telephony, with experience in Active Directory administration.
  • Customer focus: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT issues in simple terms.
  • Problem-solving abilities: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Teamwork & independence: Youll work well both within a team and independently, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
