Service Engineer Location: based out of Aberdeen Salary: up to £50,000 We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Service Engineer to carry out maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on a range of specialised equipment. This role involves working independently and as part of a team to ensure that all activities are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct service activities, including refurbishment, upgrades, inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective actions. Supervise and manage service projects where necessary. Maintain accurate records and provide reports as required. Build and sustain excellent relationships with customers, providing professional and friendly support. Identify and communicate service and spare parts sales opportunities. Offer feedback to internal teams to improve products and services. Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental standards and site-specific rules. Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members and trainees. Manage subcontractors and oversee their work. Experience: Background in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, marine, military, or heavy engineering. Candidates with significant practical experience, even without formal accreditation, will be considered. Experience working in ports, onboard ships, or offshore environments is highly advantageous. Skills and Competencies: Strong technical understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus.
