As a Service Engineer servicing our customers' properties in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Essex, and London, while experience across all system types is preferred, we welcome applications from candidates with expertise in specific areas. Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair security systems including Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Fire Alarm Systems. Independently manage assigned service areas, providing excellent customer service and timely completion of all works. Troubleshoot and perform system diagnostics on a variety of security technologies. Maintain high levels of safety, ensuring systems are fully operational and compliant with relevant regulations.
You will need:
Experience in Security Systems:
Previous experience working with Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Fire Safety Systems is highly desirable. Strong Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with security technologies. Self-Motivated & Independent:
You will be working independently in a defined area and should have a proactive approach. Excellent Communication Skills:
Ability to interact effectively with clients, ensuring their security needs are met. Industry Experience:
Previous experience in the security systems industry is essential. We value candidates who have demonstrated long-term commitment to previous employers.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary: £32,400 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Overtime: Ability to earn up to £50,000 per year through overtime (x1.5 of base salary for hours worked over 40). On-Call Allowance: £200 per month for being on-call (1 in every 4 weeks). Travel Compensation: Door-to-door payment for all working hours. Company Vehicle: Van or Caddy with option for personal use. Training & Career Development: Access to professional courses such as IPAF, ECS, and more. Generous Holiday: 20 days holiday per year, increasing to 25 days with length of service. High-Quality Tools: All necessary tools, including laptop, tablet, and mobile phone.
