Bristol A successful engineering company is seeking a Service Engineer to be based out of their new workshop in Bristol and covering clients around the South West. As the Service Engineer, you will form part of the workshop team and be responsible for carrying out Diesel Engine and Pump Maintenance. You will be involved in repairs, servicing, and maintenance as instructed by the supervisor. Responsibilities:

Working to manufacturers' procedures to fully inspect pump equipment after being returned by the customer. Communicating effectively with the supervisor and colleagues regarding job requirements, including downtime and cost identifying cause. Repair and overhaul equipment to include fault finding, diagnostic, and investigative work. Check all equipment for damages to ensure detailed notifications are sent accordingly. Put forward proposals for modifications and improvements to machines or processes. Ensure compliance with all business and client requirements regarding HSQE. Qualifications:

A solid mechanical engineering background working on Pumps, Generators, Motors, Compressors, or similar type heavy equipment. Good IT literacy in MS Office suite and able to learn/train on company software. Strong planning and organizational skills. Good problem-solving skills. You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points. The role will be based out of the workshop in Bristol (Avonmouth), but there will be a requirement to travel to customer sites in the South West area. The role is Monday to Friday (40 Hours) with opportunities for overtime paid at x1.5 or x2. Salary offered is £36,000 - £40,000 plus 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, with opportunities for ongoing training and development. A company van and fuel card will be provided.
