Field Service Engineer - Checkweighers - £40,000-£45,000 (DOE) + Benefits
A leading manufacturer of checkweighers and x-ray machinery is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join their growing team.
The role is field-based, covering the whole of the UK, with a main focus in the south. 70% of work will be below Birmingham, therefore this role would suit someone located south of the M62.
The ideal candidate will have experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering, have worked with checkweighers, inspection equipment, x-ray machinery, or similar previously, and have experience in commissioning and calibration.
The Package:
Salary - £40,000-£45,000 (DOE)
On-call rota - 1 week in 6 - Paid for 20 additional hours

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the UK Service Manager
Commission, calibrate, or repair the full range of equipment.
Qualifications:
Experience with inspection machinery, e.g. checkweighers, x-ray, and metal detection.
Knowledge of the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
Willingness to travel throughout the UK with overnight stays as required.
