Service Engineer

£38,000 basic Service Engineer / Service Technician / Field Service Engineer required to join a leading manufacturer of materials handling and packaging products covering Derbyshire. Responsibilities: You will be on site 1-2 days servicing conveyors and the rest of the week in the factories. Maintain and service conveyors and associated electrical/mechanical equipment, mainly in the food & beverage environment. Install, commission, and maintain conveyor systems at client sites. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Provide technical support and training to clients. Liaise with various engineering environments. Full product training provided. Must be commutable to Derbyshire. Requirements: Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician / Installation Engineer, Conveyor Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Food engineer or similar. Proven experience as a Service Engineer, preferably in the materials handling or packaging industry. Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Valid UK driving license. Willingness to travel within the Derbyshire and surrounding areas.
