Job Description: My client are looking for a skilled

Generator Engineer

to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various types of generators. The role involves ensuring that generators are running efficiently and effectively, and that any issues are addressed in a timely manner. Job security along with continuous training and development Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of diesel generators. Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting to diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs. Monitor generator performance and make adjustments to optimize operational efficiency. Provide technical support to customers and internal teams. Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and testing. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations. Assist in the planning and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules. Provide on-site support during generator installations and upgrades. Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve complex technical issues. Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in generator installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, diesel engines, and power generation. Experience with automated control systems and generator controllers. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as required. Preferred Skills: Certification in generator servicing or power systems Previous experience in working in industrial or commercial settings.
