Service Engineer required to join a well-established company that provides spare parts, repair services, and maintenance solutions for conventional and CNC machine tools. In this role, you will provide technical expertise for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conventional and CNC machine tools. You will also assist in spare parts identification and installation, ensuring optimal machine functionality and customer satisfaction.

Service Engineer - CNC Job Overview Maintenance & Repair:

Perform on-site and workshop-based maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for conventional and CNC machine tools. Troubleshooting:

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, providing efficient solutions to minimize machine downtime. Installation & Commissioning:

Assist in installing and commissioning machine tools and their associated components. Spare Parts Management:

Identify and recommend appropriate spare parts for various machine tools and facilitate procurement and installation. Technical Support:

Provide customers with clear guidance on machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques. Documentation:

Maintain detailed service records, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts replaced, to ensure traceability and quality control.

Service Engineer - CNC Job Requirements Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in servicing and repairing conventional and CNC machine tools. Familiarity with control systems such as FANUC, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Heidenhain is a plus. Must be willing to travel within a 50 miles radius of Burton Upon Trent.

Service Engineer - CNC Salary & Benefits Full time - Permanent position Monday to Friday - 8am until 4:30pm (3:30pm finish on Fridays) Salary - £28,000 - £35,000 (DOE) 31 days holiday including bank holidays
