RL31676 Service Engineer Colchester 39k- 45k Alecto Recruitment is working with our client to find a Service Engineer/Technician to work on their Isuzu vehicles in one of their 5 branches in Colchester. Key Responsibilities: Servicing and Repairs:

Diagnose, service, and resolve challenging and time-sensitive mechanical issues on Isuzu vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Pre-Delivery Preparation:

Carry out pre-delivery checks and fit accessories to new vehicles, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards before being handed over to customers. Fault Diagnosis:

Accurately diagnose faults, identify necessary repairs, and make recommendations for improvements. Quality & Safety:

Ensure all work complies with professional standards and is completed safely, efficiently, and without compromising quality. Customer Satisfaction:

Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all work is carried out to the customers' complete satisfaction. Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of repairs and services completed, including diagnostic results and parts used. Tool & Equipment Management:

Utilise and maintain your own set of tools, ensuring they are in good working order. Required Skills and Experience: Technical Expertise:

Proven experience as a service engineer or technician, ideally in the automotive industry, with a focus on Isuzu or similar vehicles. Diagnostic Skills:

Strong ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults. Attention to Detail:

Ability to work efficiently without compromising on the quality of work, ensuring customer satisfaction. Customer Service:

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a strong focus on delivering the best experience. Self-Motivated:

A proactive approach with a strong work ethic and a keen enthusiasm for the role. IT Competence:

Competent in using IT equipment for diagnostics, record-keeping, and administration. Driving Licence:

Full, clean driving licence. Tools:

Own set of tools required for the role. Benefits: Salary:

39,000 - 45,000 OTE, depending on experience and overtime worked, with hourly pay. Holiday Entitlement:

24 days per year plus bank holidays. Pension:

3% employee contribution, 7% employer contribution. Life Assurance:

Including dependent's pension. Training:

Ongoing training to develop your skills and expertise. Overtime:

Available (Mon - Sat: time and a half). Working Hours: Standard Hours:

Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings required. Overtime:

Available during evenings and weekends (Mon-Sat: time and a half).
