40 hours per week + overtime available About the Role: Due to ongoing success and expansion, we’re hiring a Field Service Engineer for our well-regarded client in the food packaging industry. This role is ideal for engineers based in Cardiff, Bristol, or nearby areas who are looking to boost their earnings, join a renowned company, and access career advancement opportunities. Whether you’re an experienced field-based engineer seeking a step up or a maintenance engineer or technician looking for variety and career progression, this could be the role for you. Transition from shift work, take on a more varied schedule, and grow into a specialist role in the industry. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install machinery such as motors, gearboxes, conveyors, labellers, cappers, tray sealers, baggers, weighers, and slicers. Travel to client food and packaging facilities to provide service and support. Retrofit and integrate machinery within existing production lines. Work independently or as part of a team. Train customer personnel in equipment use and maintenance. Provide remote technical support when necessary. Who We’re Looking For: Experience in food packaging OEM environments or within food, beverage, or FMCG production plants. Strong hands-on skills in repairing and maintaining manufacturing or FMCG equipment. Willing to travel and stay overnight when needed (all expenses covered). Maintenance and repair background (field experience is beneficial but not essential). Driven by opportunities to progress to a Senior Field Service Engineer role. Why Join Us?
