Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer

The successful candidate will ideally be both electrically and mechanically competent with some knowledge of programming.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer shall carry out pre-planned service, commissioning, installation, and breakdown visits on a wide range of strapping machinery.

Responsibilities:
Carry out pre-planned service, commissioning, installation, and breakdown visits on a wide range of wrapping machinery and associated electrical/mechanical equipment. Conduct routine maintenance to minimise downtime and enhance machine performance. Produce detailed service reports, documenting work completed, key findings, and recommendations. Reports must be professional, accurate, and customer-ready. Liaise with various engineering departments. Full product training provided. Will ideally be based in the Northeast but be flexible to travel across the UK and Ireland.
Requirements:
Experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Service Technician, or similar. Field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering equipment. Full UK driving license. Flexible for overtime/part of the on-call rota. A technical electrical/mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous. Happy to cover North East and be flexible to travel across the UK and Ireland.
