About the role We are currently looking for a Service Engineer to join our Groundcare division. Based at our branch near Cirencester, you would be joining a very knowledgeable, experienced, friendly team and whilst the work is technically challenging, we look to provide a well-structured training program that works in conjunction with Kubota UK. Much of the repair and service work is carried out on-site so a fully expensed vehicle will be provided. This mainly mobile role means that every day is different, but you still retain the support of the base near Cirencester. The majority of our work tends to be with contractors, councils, schools, golf courses and private estates within Gloucestershire and the surrounding area. About you Previous experience in the agriculture or groundcare industry would be ideal but product training is provided. You will already have a solid foundation, ideally possessing a good knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics and hydraulics - many of these skills will be interchangeable from related industries. Your experience or previous roles may include: Multiskilled Engineer Plant Service Engineer Construction Plant Machinery Engineer Mechanic Plant Engineer Diesel Engineer Mechanical Engineer Hydraulic Engineer Plant Equipment Engineer Groundcare Machinery Engineer Mowers Compact Tractors Utility Vehicles Implements Aerators Scarifiers Slitters Sweepers & Collectors Essential skills and experience: Full UK Driving licence Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics and hydraulics Excellent customer service skills Maths and English to GCSE level A qualification in land-based or mechanical engineering Package Description As a Service Engineer, you will be part of our welcoming and supportive team.
