A Manufacturer and supplier of machine tools and industrial equipment are searching for a Mechanical biased Field Service Engineer to join their growing team.


• You must be comfortable to work within a variety of customer premises, from small subcontract engineering machine shops to large Blue Chip national and international engineering companies.

• You should have good organisational and strong interpersonal skills plus formal technical qualifications and should be able to demonstrate your experience within this field.

• The role is based in Huddersfield, however, your working location can be flexible throughout the UK

• There may occasionally be a requirement to travel abroad for periods of 2 to 3 weeks (America and France mainly)

They offer: -

• Competitive salary plus overtime (1 ⅓ x weekdays, 1 ½ x Saturday, 2 x Sunday)

• Core working hours - 38 ½ hours per week

Monday to Thursday 8.00 to 16.30

Friday 8.00 to 15.00

• Holidays - 25 days + bank holidays - (33 days total)

• Pension - Contributory Pension


Skills/Qualifications

• Essential you will have a valid UK driving license – (Clean Preferred)

• Experience in dealing with both Manual and Computer Numerically Controlled Milling Machinery.

• Mechanical fitting and fault diagnosis on Machine tools.

• NVQ or Higher in an Engineering subject (Preferred).
