We work in a wide range of sectors including education, social housing, property management and retail, offering solutions from basic fire extinguishers through to large commercial installations. Working for Jackson Fire & Security you will be a highly organised and proactive individual. You will be based at our Head Office in Mold, North Wales and our standard working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday. Some flexibility will be required to support the needs of the business. Main Responsibilities: Lead, manage and motivate a team of lone working field-based Fire & Security Engineers and the Operations office, ensuring that all customers are serviced on time and to the highest standards. Develop strong relationships with customers, focusing on customer service, retention and growth. Manage, motivate and support field engineers directly. Distribute and allocate work, ensuring completion within agreed timescales. Monitor and report weekly on key deliverables and KPIs in line with our NSI and BAFE accreditations and business targets. Resolve all customer queries promptly, ensuring delivery of the highest standards of service. Monitor materials and equipment, ensuring stock levels are correct. Manage fleet ensuring adherence to standards and maintenance schedule. Liaise with suppliers to ensure best price practice and stock availability. Person Specification: Proven experience of hands-on direct management of a team of Engineers or similar on a day-to-day basis - ideally gained within the fire protection or security industry. Highly driven and motivated with the ability to multi-task daily. Attention to detail is a key part element of this role. People management and motivation of the lone working engineers. Strong commercial acumen. Clear, effective and influential communication skills at all levels. Must be IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft and experience of using CRM systems.
