Your position In your new role as a Service Engineer within the Technology Solutions division, you’ll join Semco Maritime’s high-performing team that specializes in delivering cutting-edge telecommunication services to our clients in the energy sector. Your expertise will be key to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of offshore and onshore energy operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact in the industry while contributing to our continued growth and success. Your place of work will be based at our office in Esbjerg, Denmark, or Grimsby, UK, and will require travel for approximately 50+ days per year, including offshore assignments. Your Tasks & Responsibilities As a Telecommunication Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our clients' critical telecommunication infrastructure. Your Tasks Will Include, But Are Not Limited To Engaging regularly with customers to understand and support their needs Providing technical input for service tenders and quotations Delivering remote support to clients and troubleshooting issues Developing and reviewing work packages and RAMS documentation Conducting hands-on work, including installation and preventive maintenance of networking equipment Supervising onshore and offshore projects, including commissioning and brownfield projects engineering Your Profile & Qualifications We are looking for an outgoing and positive Service Engineer who is passionate about telecommunications in the energy sector and eager to leave their personal mark. You approach your work proactively and are organized, independent, and a skilled communicator. To Succeed In This Position, You Ideally Have A technical service background, particularly within telecommunications An interest and experience in energy sector operations and maintenance Self-motivation and the ability to plan and execute work independently A proactive and solution-oriented mindset Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams Willingness to travel frequently and to work offshore Welcome to Semco Maritime At Semco Maritime, we create change.
