For the successful Service Engineer our client is offering: Competitive salary paying up to £43,290 Per Annum - Depending on experience Permanent Role Working hours - 8am-5:30pm Monday to Friday Company Van Staff canteen 30 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme The role – Service Engineer: Our client is currently looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer who will be covering the Glasgow & surrounding areas Maintain cranes, prolonging the life of the equipment under our remit by means of preventative maintenance and servicing. Reduce avoidable costs where possible for the group by achieving first time fix rate. Advise the group/site in crane related and lifting operation matters. Reduce crane breakdowns by Preventative Maintenance on component items. Carry out fault diagnosis and route cause analysis on components after failure. Completion of Risk Assessment/Method Statements and Point of Work Risk Assessments. Collate crane performance data and send monthly reports to manager for all sites. Understand and deploy continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques to optimise crane availability, reliability and performance. What our client is looking for in a Service engineer: Will have demonstrable technical experience with a similar, mobile service role. Possess the necessary experience in working with relevant mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems. Will have existing knowledge of some of the following plants would be beneficial: i.e forklifts Will need to be flexible with regard to travel, tasks performed, and working hours. Should be comfortable working independently and be an effective problem solver. Will possess excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
