Provide Service/Commissioning and aftersales support for all products offered by the company including large scale waste water management systems, oily water separators, and ballast water systems. Responsibilities include: Independently carry out electrical and mechanical servicing of equipment and systems. Liaise with the customer whilst on site with technical queries and questions. Clearly and accurately document additional time, parts used, and requests from the customer that could alter the agreed scope of supply, impact the job commercially, and increase delays to the completion date. Feed back the documented changes to the Customer Support Engineers on a regular basis (daily or weekly as appropriate) with supported evidence to allow for accurate conversations with the customer. Ensure that a defect log is accurately kept and shared with the Customer Support Engineers to aid with supplier and customer negotiations and product improvements where necessary. Assist the ship staff with basic system training if required. Provide timely detailed service reports and accurate feedback on all issues to the Customer Support Engineers. Assist the engineering department and customers with mechanical-electrical installation, planning & design. Assist with electrical design and system upgrades as required.
