Ensure adherence to safety practices and quality standards. Carry out the total maintenance of equipment. Maintain the stock levels of materials required and ensure that the appropriate tools are in place and ready for use. Report and document component failures. Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment. Assist, support, and train service crew. Test and evaluate refurbished and repaired generators and prepare test reports as per ISO standards. The duties described above cover the focus of the role; however, from time to time you may be required to carry out any other duties which are reasonable and within your abilities to support other areas of the business. You’ll have the following skills and experience: Educated to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering/mechanical subject (can include apprenticeship). Good organisational & communication skills. Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications. Well organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards. Salary ranging from £30,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.
