Job Description Description: We are working exclusively with a family-run company servicing the South of England, helping customers with breakdowns, routine maintenance & H & S inspections to woodworking and metalworking machines including sliding table panel saws, bandsaws, cold saws, guillotines, and pillar drills. Requirements: A good understanding of 3 phase motors and their different braking systems. NVQ level 2 in an engineering practice. A good understanding of machinery control circuits. Good communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships with customers. Ability to work independently. Good report writing skills. Prepared to have occasional overnight stays & potential early starts to avoid traffic. Full, clean UK driving license. Ability to read engineering diagrams. Must be physically dextrous. Computer literate, able to use Word, Excel, email & the ability to work from home. Good organisational skills. Source new parts which may involve liaising with suppliers or online searches. Desirable: NVQ 3 in an engineering practice. Ability to read circuit diagrams. Multi-skilled in electrical & mechanical. Forklift license. You will start work from home and will be provided with a vehicle & tools. We have a small workshop if required for offsite repairs. One day a week is set aside for working from home to source parts & prepare quotes for the office to contact the customer. Your diary is managed for you online by the office. You will be provided with an app to install on your phone to make business calls & given an email address to work from. PPE will be provided. As part of your training, you will need to spend 3-4 nights away to complete the PUWER course. DBS checks will be carried out as we work in various educational settings. Salary:

Starting at £30,000 increasing to £35,000 pa upon completion of training and progress. This usually takes 6-9 months. We also offer the Nest pension scheme. Job Types:
