Service Engineer
Service Engineer focuses on attend site to diagnose.
What the role involves
- Attend site to diagnose.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding and maintenance.
- Investigate issues such as oil leaks, electrical faults and component failures.
- Supporting testing activities (IR, HV withstand, functional checks).
- Repair components including relays, gaskets, cooling systems and accessories.
- Work independently on customer sites when required.
Skills and requirements
- Background in electrical site engineering, HV systems, transformers, substation maintenance or similar field-based engineering work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience working in site-based engineering environments.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
