Real Life Options have an exciting opportunity for a part time Service Lead to join our team in Leeds. We are looking for someone with supervisory experience to act as a role model for our staff teams and be responsible for the day-to-day running of the support service.

About us

We deliver creative, dynamic and person-centred services providing a range of individualised support within the community and day support centre. We offer care packages for a diverse range of individuals with different care and support needs, which range from full support, forensic support, and support for individuals with challenging behaviours.

About the role

You will be required to provide on-call duties on a rota basis for your locations, attend and participate in team meetings and service user reviews, ensure medication procedures are in place, and service users are supported appropriately.

Undertake specified managerial responsibilities, which contribute to the overall management of the support services provided.

You will play a key role in the assessment of the service user and development of a Person Centred Plan, facilitating participation of all workers in the implementation of the agreed plan.

Ensure agreed appropriate levels of support are provided to individuals. Organise staff rotas to make the best use of resources and maintenance of appropriate cover.

Essential Experience:

Demonstrable track record of working with people with learning disabilities in a supported living and enabling environment.

Commitment to the principles of community care.

Understanding of development needs of adults with a learning disability (social, personal, physical, occupational, and leisure).

Understanding of the needs of people with disabilities, including learning disabilities, multiple disabilities, and complex needs.

You will be supporting our Service Users to achieve their individual goals and lead full and productive lives as valued members of their community while ensuring services provided adhere to Real Life Options' values.
