Job Overview The Supported Living Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality care and support services to individuals in a supported living environment. This position requires a compassionate leader who is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with learning difficulties, autism, and mental health ailments The manager will be responsible for ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented and that staff are well-supervised and supported in their roles. Duties Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. Develop, implement, and regularly review individual care plans tailored to the needs of residents. Administer medication as required, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Supervise daily operations within the supported living facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all residents. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to coordinate comprehensive care for residents. Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly to promote their well-being. Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in senior care and dementia care. Skills Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing teams within a nursing home or assisted living setting. Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices in senior care. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient in developing comprehensive care plans that address individual needs. Experience in supervising staff and fostering a collaborative team environment. Compassionate approach to care, with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with dementia or other complex needs. Job Type: Full-time Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year Benefits: Company pension On-site parking Work Location: In person
