Service & Repair Team Leader

to oversee the asset repair process from initial request through to timely resolution and return to service as well as supporting with temporary provisions during repair periods. Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: Manage a diverse team to develop a high-performance culture and set clear expectations to meet goals. Ensure a customer-focused approach throughout the service and repair process. Stay up to date with project trends, industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to provide technical guidance and support to team members and customers. Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure high-quality service and repair work. Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of work. Collaborate with the management team to establish and manage budgets to optimize resource allocation and meet service demands. Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to measure performance including service completion rates, turnaround times, QC measures and general service & repair schedules. Manage documentation of technical training initiatives, certifications obtained, and improvements in the team's technical skills working with the MEHJV Training Department. Create actionable plans to address customer service feedback, including improvements in response times, issue resolution, and overall customer satisfaction. What we’re looking for: Previous experience in a plant maintenance discipline, preferably a professional qualification (minimum NVQ Level 2). Prior experience in a supervisory/team leader level role specifically managing service and maintenance of plant, tools and equipment is very desirable. A good working knowledge of inventory management of assets and the hire industry is preferred. A strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, purchasing, and logistics, is valuable. Major Project Experience, specifically on nuclear or working in alliance agreement projects would be advantageous. Works include the design and installation of circa 76,000 cables totalling over 3,000km in length; over 180km of cable containment support systems; fire and environmental sealing; design and installation of earthing systems, and specialist packages associated with data acquisition and plant control.
