Service & Support Engineer

PERMANENT SERVICE & SUPPORT ENGINEER MILTON KEYNES 28-32K + bonus Due to expansion, we are recruiting for a new, exciting position in which you can contribute to the success of the organisation. So let's start with the good stuff: Standalone role with the freedom to make the job your own. Varied, unlikely that no two days will be the same. Well known in their field with a well-established international brand. Annual bonus, subject to company performance. Plus the usual stuff: Pension, medical care, free on-site parking and working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (1 hour for lunch). Daily duties are likely to involve: Overseeing the department where the highest level of customer service is paramount. Support with technical product repair queries over the phone but also possibly face to face locally if required. Reviewing and processing warranty repairs which will include: Speaking to the customers, engineers, and dealers to coordinate repairs. This would include ETAs and being involved in the process from start to completion. Ensure there is sufficient stock in order for any current or future repairs to be undertaken. Process the necessary paperwork and invoices accordingly. In return, what we need from you: Similar experience in an electronic engineering role. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written. Be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service. Dexterity and an interest in diagnosing/troubleshooting to establish suitable solutions. Curious mindset with the ability to learn. Flexibility to pick up a manual and be able to gain in-depth knowledge around the products. Work on your own initiative with self-motivation.
