Service Technician focuses on carry out routine maintenance on hv.

What the role involves

• Carry out routine maintenance on HV.
• Perform ACB testing, servicing, and inspections.
• Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions across electrical distribution systems.
• Conduct thermal imaging surveys, oil sampling, and maintenance of power factor correction equipment.
• Supporting intrusive maintenance activities on HV substations.
• Produce clear and accurate engineering reports.

Skills and requirements

• Industry-recognised electrical qualifications or completed apprenticeship.
• Proven experience working on electrical distribution equipment.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience post-training.
• LV distribution networks and substation components.
