As a Service Technician at Ben Burgess, you'll face the exciting challenge of working with cutting-edge machinery, providing top-notch support to our customers, and playing a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service. You'll work closely with our Service Managers, dividing your time between our state-of-the-art workshops and the great outdoors, where you'll maintain, repair, and service a diverse range of machinery, including tractors, combines, and other implements.
Your responsibilities as an Ag Service Technician will include:
Diagnosing and repairing agricultural equipment, including Precision AG products; Performing regular servicing on machinery; Continuously developing your skills and knowledge through training on new products and services; Upholding the highest quality standards in both workshop and field settings; Mentoring apprentices and trainees; Preparing new and used equipment for delivery. We value candidates who possess:
Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service; The ability to work both independently and as part of a team; Self-motivation, strong communication skills, and a drive to embrace new challenges; Experience in a franchised dealer environment is preferred, but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided; Proficiency in maintaining and repairing machinery using special tools and following approved technical procedures; Flexibility to adjust working hours during peak seasons and weekends; A valid UK driving licence.
