Semco Maritime is looking for a service engineer with a telecom background to join our team in UK to support the service and maintenance of our clients offshore operations around the world. Key responsibilities and tasks As a Telecommunication Service Engineer you will refer to our Service Manager, Products and Technologies. The tasks will include: Actively searching for opportunities within your role Regular contact to customers and clients Provide Service input to tenders/quotations Remote support for clients Troubleshooting / problem solving Production and review of work packages & RAMS Hands on work including installation of telecom annual preventive maintenance of customer equipment within Telecom Systems (PAGA, Tetra, VHF, CCTV, Network, etc… ) Supervision of works (onshore & offshore) Who we are looking for This role will suit an ambitious person with a strong engineering background within the energy sector? The ideal candidate for us has: You have a technical service background. You have experience in operations and maintenance as well as project delivery You are self-motivated and able to plan your own work. You are proactive and persistent in reaching the best solutions You are an excellent communicator. You have experience in producing work packages including method statements and risk assessments You are used to and willing to travel to other areas where potential clients operate You are used to and willing to work offshore as part of your routine operations. You can travel 100 days a year
