A job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Transition Lead to join a highly established organisation during a period of rapid technical and business transformation. The Service Transition Lead will be responsible for ensuring smooth transitions of new and updated services into live service. You will collaborate with several IT teams, conduct impact assessments, implement effective transition plans to minimise service transitions and facilitate the transition of service change aspects from the project teams through transition to service management. The Service Transition Lead will take responsibility for the service transition process within the project management methodology. Reporting into the Service Delivery Management Team, you will liaise closely with project teams, service owners and service delivery managers, Infrastructure teams and Change management. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate: A proven track record of having worked as a Service Transition Lead or in a similar position ITIL 4 Practitioner in Service Management or equivalent Experience working in IT Service transition Experience in an IT service environment within a complex and diverse organisation Knowledge of ITIL service management processes Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills This position offers excellent scope for career progression plus a benefits package that includes: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Pension scheme (5% employee contribution, 10% employer contribution) Bonus scheme (up to 15%) 14 x salary Life Insurance Flexible benefits scheme options including corporate gym memberships, dental insurance, and health cash-plans Access to Financial Wellbeing Programme Enhanced pay for parental leave Retail discounts and cashback scheme Flexible/hybrid working options This position will be based on a hybrid working set-up from the Newport office.
