Service Transition Manager

Service Delivery Manager - Contract - Manchester Our client is looking for a Service Transition Manager to manage the successful and safe introduction of new services or products from a programme into new and existing environments, ensuring minimal disruption to live services and operations. You will collaborate and manage key stakeholder relationships, engage with IT leadership, programme and project managers, IT peers that will support the strategy, business sponsors, and 3rd party suppliers. As part of this position, you will: Develop and manage an all-encompassing service transition strategy. Collaborate with multiple workstreams to integrate service transition into the overall programme. Identify and alleviate risks related to service transition and resolve these issues promptly. Provide regular status reports to leadership and key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with PMO processes and support broader programme activities. Experience: Proven background/experience in full lifecycle IT implementations in large enterprises. Solid technical background and knowledge of IT systems. Excellent risk and crisis management abilities. Attention to detail and adaptability. This position is based on a hybrid basis in Manchester, so being local to their offices would be advantageous. Looking for immediate starters in the new year.
