They provide cutting-edge capital equipment solutions for slicing, filling, and depositing processes at food production sites worldwide. Their engineering expertise and customer-first approach have earned them a reputation as a trusted partner in the industry. The Role We are looking for a Service/Installation Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join their skilled team. This is a multi-skilled engineering position that combines electrical and mechanical responsibilities. The role involves global travel, with candidates potentially staying away from home for up to 1–2 weeks at a time for installations, as well as working on UK-based projects and providing workshop support during quieter periods. Responsibilities: Install, service, and maintain capital equipment in food processing environments globally. Read and interpret electrical diagrams. Work on 3-phase machinery and perform PLC fault-finding (HMI inputs/outputs). Handle wiring and rewiring tasks. Service and repair gearboxes, motors, pneumatics, belts, and conveyors. Work with servo drives and VFD drives. Collaborate with clients to ensure successful equipment installation and operation. What We’re Looking For: We are open to candidates with a range of experience levels. Whether you are a seasoned multi-skilled engineer or a junior engineer with apprenticeship experience, we’d like to hear from you! Essential Requirements: A multi-skilled engineering background with exposure to capital equipment. Electrical qualifications (any formal certification is acceptable). Understanding of PLC systems and fault-finding processes. Willingness to travel internationally and stay away from home for extended periods. Desirable Skills: Experience working on food processing machinery or similar capital equipment. Hands-on knowledge of servo drives, VFD drives, and pneumatics.
