Function: Architecture Solution and Design Unit: Digital Location: Salford (4663), Manchester, United Kingdom This role is 3 days a week on site in either our Manchester, Birmingham or London Offices If you're looking to work in the epicenter of ServiceNow within BT, then this is the area to be as you'll be joining the Centre of Excellence team for ServiceNow and the key platform team for BT with over 200 in the team. As a ServiceNow Platform Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining the system architecture within BT’s ServiceNow environment. This includes seamless integrations with other systems. You will provide visionary technical leadership, ensuring the platform aligns with the business strategy. You will lead the development of architectural and technical standards and best practices. What you’ll be doing

In this role you will be working across multiple workstreams across the entire BT Group. Design and Architecture:

Develop and architect ServiceNow solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices, ensuring consistency across multiple delivery workstreams. Module Implementation:

Lead the development and implementation of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CSM, ITOM, HRSD, and other applications, across various BT business units. Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with stakeholders from different BT businesses to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications that can be applied across multiple workstreams. Technical Leadership:

Provide technical direction and mentoring for design and implementation leads across all delivery workstreams, and document best practices and procedures. Architecture Maintenance:

Create and maintain detailed views of the existing architecture, ensuring it supports multiple workstreams and business units. Strategic Alignment:

Ensure platform alignment with the overall business strategy of BT and provide consultative technical leadership to the platform team across all workstreams. Architectural Controls:

Develop architectural controls and conduct impact analysis for new requirements, considering the needs of multiple delivery workstreams. Integration Strategy:

Identify reuse opportunities and develop the integration strategy between the Now Platform and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless integration across all BT businesses. Governance:

Contribute to and oversee governance processes, ensuring compliance and consistency across all delivery workstreams within BT. Skills and Experiences

To be suitable for this role you will have completed a minimum of 4 ServiceNow Implementations. You will also have experience of: Key Skills: ServiceNow Platform experience with most of ITSM, CSM, ITOM, HRSD. Exposure of most of the following: SecOps, GRC, Architectural Standards, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Data Modelling, Agile Engineering, DevOps. Significant experience working in Service Management and Service Assurance, ideally in a multi-business unit ServiceNow implementation. Advanced technical knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform and a solid understanding of business strategy and governance practices. Experience with enterprise architecture, security, database design schemas, and data modelling. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to establish deep and productive relationships with stakeholders and squad members. Preferred Skills: Experience with agile engineering, DevOps, and cloud-native principles. Proven expertise in designing and implementing software solutions that are simple, intuitive, and easy to use. Ability to lead a team and provide authoritative technical recommendations to commercial decisions on new and emerging areas. ServiceNow Implementation certifications, CTA/CMA are preferred.
