Sessional Health & Social Care Tutors and/or Assessors Croydon Adult Learning & Training (CALAT) Sessional Lecturer Conditions: Band 1, Pts 3 to 8 - £32.27 to £38.92 (including holiday pay) per hour. Hours: Variable – Sessional. This is a sessional post. We are looking for experienced and qualified sessional tutors and assessors who are sector experienced to teach and/or assess from E3 - Level 4 in Care qualifications. You must be experienced in delivering accredited courses and/or a qualified and experienced assessor, able to provide references to confirm independent assessing of learner competence in the workplace. You will need to work independently, be flexible, be able to attend induction sessions, team and standardisation meetings, and in addition CALAT Staff meetings, and be willing to work at different venues in Croydon. CALAT is a large, dynamic and high-quality Adult Education provider (Good at inspection November 2023) that offers a wide range of courses and qualifications. We are currently experiencing a high demand for Care and Care related courses and are recruiting sessional tutors and assessors to work with us to support this expanding and dynamic curriculum offer. Starting pay is £32.27 to £33.60 per hour (including holiday pay), depending on teaching qualification and experience. Tutors holding the equivalent to a Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training / Certificate in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) or above, start at £33.60 (including holiday pay) per hour.
