The School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Professional (STEP) at Kingston College is now seeking a Sessional Lecturer to teach primarily on Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC Business programmes. Taking responsibility for the group tutorship of one or more of the courses within the School, you’ll contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvements as directed by the Head of Section and/or Head of School. We're looking for someone who is educated to degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and who has links to the industry, relevant external agencies, and validating bodies. With energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the subject and education, you’ll hold a qualification in teaching, have excellent teaching skills, and relevant teaching experience on BTEC programmes in Business across a range of levels. With high personal standards and expectations, you will have good planning, preparation, organisational, and administrative skills, and be able to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines. You will have an awareness of academic quality standards and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, with a creative approach to problem solving. Closing date for the return of completed applications is 12th February 2025.
