The Commercial Industries & Access School at Kingston College is seeking a Sessional Lecturer with a subject specialism in Uniformed Protective Services & Policing, Health, Social Care, and Sport. You will take responsibility for the group tutorship of one of the courses within the Uniformed Protective Services & Policing, Health, Social Care, and Sport curriculum area, teaching on a variety of courses and levels, including but not limited to: BTEC, NCFE, Levels 2 & 3.
Responsibilities:
Group tutorship for courses in Uniformed Protective Services & Policing, Health, Social Care, and Sport.
Teaching various courses and levels, including BTEC and NCFE.
Monitoring learner progress and providing support.
Planning, preparation, and organization of teaching materials.
Qualifications:
A degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject.
A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
Excellent teaching skills with substantial relevant teaching experience on BTEC and/or NCFE programmes.
You should have high personal standards and expectations, along with energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the subject and education. You must be able to support, motivate, and empathize with learners, demonstrating good attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure and to agreed deadlines.
