The Commercial Industries & Access School at Kingston College is seeking a Sessional Lecturer with a subject specialism in Uniformed Protective Services & Policing, Health, Social Care, and Sport. You will take responsibility for the group tutorship of one of the courses within the Uniformed Protective Services & Policing, Health, Social Care, and Sport curriculum area, teaching on a variety of courses and levels, including but not limited to: BTEC, NCFE, Levels 2 & 3. We would like you to hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject, hold a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards it), and have excellent teaching skills with substantial relevant teaching experience on BTEC and/or NCFE programmes. With links to the industry, relevant external agencies, and validating bodies, you will have high personal standards and expectations with energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the subject and education. Able to support, motivate, and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress, you will have good planning, preparation, organisational, and administrative skills, with good attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure and to agreed deadlines. Closing date for the return of completed applications is 6th February 2025.
