Based at Rainbow Mind northern hub – Mind in Salford, The Angel Centre, Salford. Hybrid working is appropriate for this role. About the Employer Rainbow Mind North (A service delivered by Mind in Salford) is an LGBTQIA+ led service delivering community mental health interventions across Salford. Rainbow Mind provides a range of innovative services for LGBTQIA+ people from Rainbow Mind southern (London) and northern (Salford) hubs. Rainbow Mind has collaborations and engagement with a diverse range of local and national LGBTQIA+ organisations that support cultural, gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity relevant services. Purpose of the Role: We have recently been awarded a large grant from the Lottery community fund and we are expanding our one to one LGBTQIA+ service provision. This is a really exciting time to get involved. We are creating a bespoke model of therapy for the LGBTQIA+ community and working with a local university to evaluate its impact. The basis of the model is humanistic with added tools and concepts aimed specifically at the LGBTQIA+ community. Full training will be provided to each therapist as an adjunct to their own modality. We welcome therapists from a diverse range of backgrounds, including from across the spectrum of LGBTQIA+ sexual identities and gender expressions. Closing Date:
