Our client is seeking two highly skilled and experienced Setting Out Engineers to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of exciting and complex civil engineering projects across multiple locations. If you're passionate about civil engineering and have experience in heavy civil works, this could be the ideal role for you. One will be based in the North West and Cover sites in Manchester, Burnley & Stockport Second will be cover sites in Banbury & Gloucester About the Role:

The Setting Out Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the setting out and precision alignment of civil engineering structures, specifically in substation projects. The role will involve traveling to various project sites, including Burnley, Banbury, and Gloucester, so a willingness to travel is essential. All travel expenses, including accommodation and a food allowance, will be provided by the company. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, meaning successful candidates will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role after the initial contract period, depending on performance and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out accurate setting out and levelling for a variety of civil engineering projects, with a focus on substation construction. Using

Trimble technology

to ensure precision in measurement and layout. Collaborating with the engineering team to ensure the smooth delivery of projects to the highest quality standards. Adhering to strict Health & Safety protocols and site regulations. Problem-solving on-site to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet client specifications. Reporting progress and any issues to the project manager in a timely manner. Key Requirements: Heavy Civil Engineering background is essential, with significant experience in large-scale infrastructure or substation projects. Proven experience working with

is required for accurate setting out and data management. A full UK driving license and flexibility to travel to multiple locations as required by the project schedule. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with project managers and the wider engineering team. Contract & Benefits: Rate:

280 - 330 per day (depending on experience). Type:
