Settlement Data Specialist
Do you have the skills needed to lead significant settlement-driven data projects?
We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon’s UK Retirement business. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from either our Birmingham, Sheffield or Glasgow offices.
Aon is in the business of better decisions
At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. As an organisation, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.
What the day will look like
Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including administrators, broking & buy-out settlement specialists, actuarial/consulting teams and insurers, to understand requirements, articulate our work and help make decisions.
Act as settlement data expert for a portfolio of client projects, utilising your knowledge of insurer and client requirements.
Help devise strategies for carrying out the required work within the contractual timescales.
Navigate both the broking and buy-out elements of a risk-settlement transaction from a data perspective.
Review the work carried out by others to ensure the output is fit for purpose.
Carry out and/or review modelling work, for example to roll data back to the transaction inception date.
Work closely with other internal Aon teams as we move schemes through to settlement.
Problem solve a variety of data challenges linked to settlement projects.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon.
Be willing to improve processes and adapt to change.
Have experience of settlement data projects, and the requirements of insurers.
Have strong time-management skills, able to prioritise and manage several projects.
Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate.
