Settlement Instruction (SSI) Operations Specialist Location : Chester (Hybrid - initially on-site) Contract : 6 Months (Potential Extension) Pay Rate : Competitive About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Settlement Instruction (SSI) Operations Specialist. This role focuses on ensuring client data is set up accurately to facilitate seamless trade settlements for a variety of asset classes, including FX, rates, credit derivatives, and equity derivatives. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our operational processes run smoothly, working closely with internal teams, managing data, and contributing to the delivery of key business functions. Key Responsibilities : Perform SSI setup for client trades, ensuring accurate data configuration to support cash settlements. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, onboarding, and operations, to manage workflow. Handle reporting tasks, including data manipulation and quality checks. Manage high-volume inboxes and operational systems. Use
Omgeo Alert
and other systems to maintain client data. Provide light-touch support for RMA (Relationship Management Application) tasks. What We’re Looking For : Essential : Background in investment/financial services (investment banking preferred). Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a small, dynamic team. Attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume tasks effectively. Familiarity with SSI processes or Omgeo Alert (DTCC). Prior experience in client onboarding or settlement operations. Proactive attitude with the drive to learn and adapt quickly. Recent graduates with strong learning potential are encouraged to apply. Work Arrangement : Initial full-time on-site for training in Chester. Potential for hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) once training is complete. Why Join Us?
